About Me

Drawing has always been a part of my life. I spent much of my childhood drawing. Horses were a favourite subject, people and most animals. I still draw inspiration from nature around me. I live in a beautiful part of New Zealand, in Ohope Beach. Often on my walks with my dog, I see tui, fantails and other creatures. Not to mention our beautiful scenery.
I love to add my own spin on all of my art. Putting a little bit of humour and character into my creations is my favourite part!
I am blessed to have a great family around me. Great supportive parents, a pretty awesome husband and three neat kids. One of them seems to have caught the drawing bug too. I am a primary school Teacher. I get to see art developing in young children. They are experts at art. They have no prejudgements, they just know that they can draw. I wish more adults thought like that!
Writing and illustrating a children’s book has been a dream from a very early age. I’m proof that dreams can come true, you just might have to wait until you’re over 40, but don’t give up!
Thanks for being on my journey with me!
